Install the @ai-sdk/* package for your vendor (e.g. @ai-sdk/anthropic). Any OpenAI-compatible endpoint (OpenRouter, Ollama, vLLM…) works through compatibleProvider(model, { baseURL, apiKey, name }), which needs the optional @ai-sdk/openai-compatible peer.
